Craigslist wine ordeal

A California connoisseur who went all the way to Queens to buy a case of one of the world’s most expensive red wines was knocked out, tied up and robbed of $40,100 when he showed up to collect the vino, police sources said yesterday.

“I saw the [victim] come out, his head bleeding. He had no shoes or socks,” said a resident who witnessed battered wine buyer Quy Duc Nguyen stagger from the apartment on 60th Street in Maspeth on Sunday.

Nguyen, 53, of Rosemead, Calif., told cops that three weeks ago, he answered a Craigslist ad offering bottles of Chateau Lafite Rothschild for $2,000 each, sources said. That deal went off fine, Nguyen said.

But then last week, the seller, “Bart,” offered him a better Chateau Lafite vintage at $3,200 per bottle, the sources said.

When Nguyen entered the arranged meeting place, another man attacked him, the sources said.
