Cops looking for man wanted in Queens livery cab robbery (VIDEO)

The police are asking for help in trying to determine the identity and whereabouts of a man wanted with robbing a livery cab driver in Queens.

The NYPD said that a black man — described as being in his late 20s, about 6-feet tall, sporting a mustache and goatee — got into the cab on May 24 at 1:10 a.m. in Hunters Point.

A short time later, the man told the driver that he had forgotten his money and asked to be taken back from the area where he was picked up.

When the driver got to 41-15 Vernon Blvd., the suspect told the driver he had a gun and demanded he turn over his property.

After receiving the property, the man fled on foot into a housing project.
