An NBC News online producer made a secret Valentine’s Day sex tape with his girlfriend as an unwitting co-star — and posted it to a popular porn site, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Carlo Dellaverson, 30, whose dad is former top MTA official Gary Dellaverson, was busted Tuesday on charges of disseminating unlawful surveillance and harassment.
On Feb. 14, he allegedly hid the camera in the Barrow Street apartment he shared with his 29-year-old gal pal in Greenwich Village, the sources said.
He then slipped into bed with the unsuspecting woman and kept the camera rolling, the sources said.
Dellaverson (pictured) later posted the video on XTube, a Netherlands-based porn site that claims 9 million registered users.
The woman found the video on his computer Thursday, several months after it was taken, sources said, and promptly dumped Dellaverson and moved out of their love nest.
She later e-mailed Dellaverson asking him why he posted the video for the world to see — and he confirmed in his reply that he had put the steamy footage online, sources said.
The victim immediately filed a police report.
“We unexpectedly canceled his triple-X miniseries that he shot, and it’s not going to get renewed for next season,” a law-enforcement source cracked.
Dellaverson was awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday evening.
Dellaverson’s lawyer, Charles Abercrombie, said his client maintains his innocence and the report was “factually inaccurate,” but refused to explain how.
An NBC News spokesperson said, “We are taking the matter very seriously, and will determine the appropriate course of action once we have learned the facts.”
His father — a former chief labor negotiator and chief financial officer for the MTA — had no comment Tuesday afternoon.
He is now a special counsel to the white-shoe international law firm Proskauer.
During his 19 years with the MTA, he led major negotiations, including the settlement of the 2005 transit strike and efforts to sell the West Side Rail Yards and Atlantic Yards, according to his bio on the firm’s site.
