Drunk driver wears mugshot T-shirt to get mugshot taken

A drunk driver from Maine was so proud of his mugshot that he slapped it on a T-shirt and was wearing the silly tee for his booking photo when he arrived at jail to serve his sentence.

Robert Burt, 19, pleaded guilty to a drunk driving charge last week and was ordered to spend two days in jail for the June 14 arrest, The Smoking Gun reports.

“Going to do my 48 hours whoo,” Burt posted on Facebook.

When he arrived at jail, the proud law breaker was all too happy to pose for his booking photo.

He showed up at the Somerset County jail sporting an orange T-shirt complete with his mugshot from his June arrest and the caption “Burt Family Reunion 8/8 – 8/10/2014.”

The shirt referenced a locked-up relative of his, and the jailed jokester even made sure to mention that the “reunion” had been sponsored by “Bud Light” and the “Somerset County Sheriff.”

Burt smirked slightly for the camera, saying that even the officers joined in on the fun.

He said they asked him to purposely hold the jail slate to the side so his unforgettable shirt could be seen during the picture.

The resulting photo wound up looking like a mirror image photo within a photo.

“They laughed there asses off haha,” Burt wrote on Facebook.

“Probably the best mug shot ever haha.”
