Post to increase Alexa luxury supplement

The Post has increased the frequency of its Alexa luxury lifestyle supplement to 24 issues a year — up from 16 — and will introduce such editions as Alexa Accessories, Alexa Travel and Art Basel Miami.

“Alexa has become a successful and valuable brand, and we are excited to invest in its future,” said CEO and Publisher Jesse Angelo.

Launched as a women’s fashion pullout in 2010, the supplement has already expanded to include Alexa Men, dedicated to high-end men’s fashion; Alexa Weddings, featuring bridal fashion and haute honeymoons; and Alexa Luxe Living, a showcase for aspirational real estate.

Beginning with Alexa for Women, which will appear on Aug. 20 and feature “The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev on its cover, the luxury supplement will be printed on higher-quality paper.

“Our readers and advertisers immediately loved our high-quality content and beautiful design, and they keep telling us they want more,” said Margi Conklin, Alexa editor-in-chief and features and special sections managing editor for The Post.
