Two men were shot and one critically wounded in the lobby of a Brooklyn apartment building early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Authorities responded to 250 Clarkson Avenue at 12:48 a.m. after reports of shots fired. When they arrived, one man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest, and the other had been shot in the leg, according to authorities.
“I heard shots and screaming so I just ran downstairs,“ said Javier Ayanna, 22. “I saw two people on the floor. It looked like one of them was dying.”
Both men were transported to Kings County Hospital, one in critical condition and the other with minor injuries.
“I was tapping him to make sure he stayed awake and alert until the ambulance arrived,” Ayanna said of the victim shot in the chest.”
Both victims were described as in their late teens to early 20s.
No arrests have been made, according to police.
