Ann Romney turns down ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Ann Romney won’t be dancing her way to a mirror ball trophy anytime soon.

Mitt Romney’s wife turned down a chance to be a contestant on the celebrity dance competition “Dancing With the Stars,” TMZ reported.

After “seriously considering” the offer, the website reported Ann decided against appearing on the series.

A rep for Romney confirmed to TMZ that the show was interested in the presidential candidate’s wife.

“Ann Romney was approached, but she declined. She will not be appearing on ‘Dancing with the Stars,'” the rep said.

Last season, Ann Romney attended a live episode of “Dancing With the Stars” with her son Craig. The two watched the “All Stars” season finale, when Melissa Rycroft beat out fan-favorite Shawn Johnson for the top prize.
