Flash flood rips through cafeteria in crazy ‘disaster flick’ footage

A frightening scene reminiscent of a disaster flick unfolded over the weekend in Nebraska when rushing waters from a flash flood ripped through a hospital’s cafeteria.

Remarkable surveillance footage posted to Facebook by Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney depicted a catastrophe straight out of “The Poseidon Adventure” as the strong floodwaters laid waste to everything in their path.

At first, hospital workers can be seen standing on a staircase as they calmly look down on the flooded cafeteria below.

Suddenly, a mighty rush of water violently explodes through a glass doorway and forces its way through the hospital, sending the workers running for their lives.

Amazingly, no one was hurt.

“When stuff like this does happen, we’re able to quickly migrate, keep everybody safe, and get back to normalcy as soon as possible,” hospital security and safety manager Eric Will told local TV.
