Hero commuters lift train off trapped man in stunning footage

ABC News via Buzzfeed

They were more powerful than a locomotive.

Commuters in Australia on Wednesday made like Superman and worked together to lift a train off a man’s trapped leg. The amazing act of heroism happened on a platform in Perth around 8:50 a.m. local time when a man walking onto the train slipped and trapped his leg between it and the platform, The Telegraph reports.

Incredible video footage showed dozens of concerned commuters as they waited patiently for train officials to free the man, but to no avail.

That’s when the noble travelers decide to take matters into their own hands.

Lining up along the side of the train with their hands on the cars, they begin to push with all their might, amazingly tilting it completely off the trapped man.

Despite ambulances being called to the station, the man did not suffer any injuries, according to the Telegraph.
