Thug fires randomly into crowd in brazen nightclub shooting

A Connecticut man was arrested Sunday after he recklessly fired his pistol into a crowd of people outside a nightclub, injuring five.

Stamford police said 22-year-old Dayron Wills was following a person he had gotten into a fight with inside the club when he pulled a handgun and began blasting, Reuters reports.

“We have video of the shooting and it appears whatever set things off, the suspect unfortunately decided to just start firing randomly into a crowd of people,” said Stamford police Capt. Richard Conklin.

The graphic footage shows Wills outside the club when he lifts a handgun from his side and opens fire into the crowd.

Chaos erupts as he unloads 10 shots from his pistol, which is equipped with a laser gunsight for improved aiming.

Wills shot four men and one woman in their 20s and 30s, according to Reuters.

They were treated at Stamford Hospital, but none of their injuries was life-threatening, police said.

Wills has been charged with five counts of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and possession of marijuana.
