Peter Shinkoda has joined the growing cast of the Netflix show “Daredevil,” based on the series of Marvel Comics books.
Shinkoda, who previously starred on TNT’s “Falling Skies,” will play a new character named Hachiro, according to deadline.com. He will appear as a recurring character.
The 13-episode series is scheduled to premiere next year and already boasts a cast featuring Charlie Fox (“Boardwalk Empire”) as Matt Murdock (aka “Daredevil”), Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (“Kingpin”) and Rosario Dawson. Elden Henson will play Murdock’s best friend, Foggy Nelson.
In addition to “Falling Skies,” Shinkoda has appeared on CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” and on the big screen in “I Robot,” “Godzilla” and “Paycheck.”
