Barclays Center sued over taunting disabled employees

Barclays Center restaurants viciously taunt disabled employees and purposely keep them hidden from the public, according to disturbing claims in a new lawsuit.

Five staffers are suing the venue claiming that they were subjected to horrific abuse based on either their race or disability, the Brooklyn federal suit states.

Managers with Levy Restaurants, which handles concessions at the arena, pelted black workers with racial slurs, the suit alleges — and allegedly called a blind employee “cyclops” and mimicked the shaky hand of a man with cerebral palsy.

The disabled plaintiffs accuse company brass of removing them from the premium venues, such as the 40/40 Club and the Calvin Klein Kitchen, “so they remain out of sight of customers,” the suit states.

Levy Restaurants did not respond to a request for comment.
