Strangers undress each other, get into bed to promote ‘Masters of Sex’

Would you get into bed with a stranger — after taking off all your clothes?

That’s what director Tatia Pilieva asked 20 strangers to do for her social experiment short film “Undress Me,” pairing them into couples from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, ages and sexual orientations, then asking them to undress each other and get into bed.

The video was made in collaboration with the Showtime series “Masters of Sex” — which follows the work and lives of the pioneering sex researchers Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson in the 1950s — in honor of its second season, which premiered July 13.

Shot in black and white, the video shows the couples meeting for the first time, stripping down to their underwear and getting into a twin bed — which is where the rules end. Some pairs simply lay there while others get more physical.

“Undress Me” follows Pilieva’s first short video “First Kiss”— which features 10 couples who meet for the first time and kiss on-camera — and garnered 85 million YouTube views.
