SANTA ANA, Calif. — Orange County authorities are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a car at a Santa Ana intersection, killing a man and wounding two women inside.
Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said early Wednesday that the women were hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Bertagna tells City News Service the suspect ran to a white SUV, which sped away from the scene after the shooting late Tuesday.
Officials say the man who was killed was a passenger in the car.
Investigators have not identified a motive.
