Woman charged for suffocating infant son

A Queens woman was arrested Tuesday for suffocating her 11-month-old son to death in their Elmhurst home, cops said.

Nicole Kelly, 22, was slapped with charges of second degree murder in the death of little Kiam Felix Jr. after confessing to police, authorities said.

“She made incriminating statements during questioning,” a police source said of Kelly’s arrest. “She basically admitted to intentionally suffocating the child.”

The child was found unconscious Sunday by another family member who rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital, according to police.

Felix was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.
