Protesters pack accused cat-kicker’s courtroom

Animal lovers packed Brooklyn criminal court Monday to condemn the cruel kid accused of kicking a cat outside a Bedford-Stuyvesant housing project last month.

“He should be put away,” Margaret Lee, 61, said of Andre Robinson, 21, who was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after a YouTube video of him booting the gray cat high into the air went viral.

“When I saw the video, I cried for two days. How is that entertainment? I just don’t understand his mindset. Evil walks among us,” said secretary Shannon Krieger, 40, who took the day off work to attend Robinson’s brief court appearance.

The animal lovers held up signs outside the courtroom that said, “JUSTICE FOR KING … CONVICT ANDRE ROBINSON NOW” and called for him to be locked up.

In court, prosecutors said they had no plea offer, and the judge ordered everybody back in court July 28.

Robinson refused to comment outside court and ran off as the activists walked out of court beside him.

“Leave those ass—-s alone!” his mom told him.

King, the cat Robinson kicked, was adopted Sunday by a Manhattan man.
