Tom Brady has taken thousands of photos with fans. This time he was the fan.
Brady asked Mexican World Cup soccer coach Miguel Herrera to take a photo with him after El Tri was done practicing at the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium.
Herrera posted the photo with the three-time Super Bowl champion on Twitter with a caption that is hilarious, whether he was joking or not:
“He asked me for a photo. I don’t know who he is nor whether he has won something but I made the kid’s day,” Herrera wrote, in Spanish.
Apparently that’s where the joking ended for Herrera. The temperamental coach lambasted the media after practice, according to ESPN.
“He refused to answer questions about his starting lineup, canceled the mixed zone interviews and accused members of the media of drawing a giant pig on the whiteboard inside his team’s dressing room after the game against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday,” the report reads.
Mexico plays Portugal on Friday night in Foxborough in its final friendly before opening the World Cup against Cameroon next week.
