Hours before a Maylasia Airlines Boeing 777 was reportedly shot down near the border between Russia and Ukraine, the tone deaf airline posted a goofy twitter photo of a teddy bear in a plane cockpit.
“Fasten your seat belt, Pilot Parker is ready for his next adventure,” the Maylasia Airlines tweeted at 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
The tweet was removed shortly after reports of the jet going down over the Ukraine.
The airline was criticized for acting insensitively towards families of passengers from missing Flight MH 370 when they shockingly sent out texts informing them that their loved ones were likely dead.
That flight vanished on March 8 and has still not been found.
