The Massachusetts man found shot to death on a Bronx rooftop last month was kidnapped by his killers and taken on a harrowing three-hour, 160-mile drive to his execution, law- enforcement sources said Monday.

Patrol cops discovered the body of Joshua Bressette, 25, of North Adams, Mass., with three bullet wounds to the head and one to the back atop a building in the Gun Hill Houses on May 8 at 10 p.m.

Police sources said Bressette was abducted in the parking lot of a supermarket in North Adams and tossed inside a car bound for New York City.

“It appears as if Josh had no intention of going to The Bronx or New York City at all,” one law-enforcement source said.

“All signs point to him being forced against his will into a car, where he was brought to the city to be executed.”

Massachusetts State Police and the NYPD are looking for the killers. They believe the murder was drug-related.

The victim had a record of one arrest for drug possession with intent to distribute in western Massachusetts last February.
