Creepy stalker of CBS anchor is mentally unfit for trial

An obsessed fan of stunning CBS newscaster Diane Macedo is unfit to be tried on charges he stalked her, his lawyer said Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Richard Pagani, 30, of Brooklyn, bombarded the brunette with crude letters and messages on social media sites over two years.

Pagani even tried to visit Macedo, 32, at her office, according to the complaint.

“I’m surprised my c–k didn’t fall out of my pants when I saw you on television,” Pagani wrote in a crude Facebook message to Macedo last March.

The creepy missive was accompanied by a doctored picture of Pagani watching Macedo on television with hearts popping out of his eyes.

Pagani was busted after he tried to approach Macedo April 14 while she covered the funeral of cop Dennis Guerra in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Macedo locked herself inside a news van as Pagani banged on the windows before angrily smashing an apple into the hood, according to the complaint.

He followed up his temper tantrum with an angry Facebook rant blasting Macedo for the snub. “I hope you pass out in an ally with Gatorade an phone I hope one day you wake up and realize what a f–k up today was stupid brain washed b—h,” he wrote.

After Macedo called the police, Pagani was arrested at his home wearing a purple sweatshirt with her picture emblazoned on it.

The wacko also showed cops a sickening video of him pleasuring himself in front of a television playing Macedo’s broadcast.

He faces five counts of stalking and attempted burglary.
