Cops are asking for the public’s help in finding a man whom they allege ripped off a woman’s necklace in Sunset Park.

The 23-year-old victim was standing on 57th Street near Sixth Avenue at 3:15 p.m. on April 21 when the thief approached from ­behind and snatched the chain, police said.

The victim was not hurt, according to cops.

The thief stands about 5-foot-6 and was wearing a blue shirt under a dark jacket, authorities said.

Cops allege that a man pickpocketed cash from a straphanger aboard a 4 train in Crown Heights and an accomplice threatened to slash the victim.

The 25-year-old traveler was riding northbound toward the Franklin Avenue station at about 9:45 a.m. on April 24 when the thief dipped into the victim’s pocket and removed a wad of cash, police said.

The rider quickly realized he had been robbed and confronted the pickpocket, but the menacing accomplice stepped in, ­authorities said.

That accomplice claimed he had a razor blade and threatened to slash the victim, cops added, then the fiendish duo fled.


The Bronx

Police say that a man robbed a livery driver at knifepoint in Pelham Bay.

The robber hailed the cab at East Tremont and Lafayette avenues in Throggs Neck Wednesday morning and gave his destination as Pelham Bay Park, police said.

When the driver reached Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue at about 11:45 a.m., the rider pulled a knife and demanded money, cops said.

The hack handed over $140 and the robber fled into the park, officials said.

The driver was not injured, authorities added.


A man and two cohorts robbed and assaulted a man in a Parkchester apartment building, authorities said.

The robbers entered the victim’s building on White Plains Road near Archer Road at about 12:30 p.m. on May 4, police said.

The three pummeled and kicked him and snatched $900, cops said.

The victim, in his 50s, was treated for a cut to the head and bruises.


A 38-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the face in Fordham Heights by a man, authorities said.

The victim was standing on Morris Avenue near East 183rd Street at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when the gunman squeezed off a single shot, police said.

The fiend took off north on Morris Avenue, cops said.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was fighting for his life, officials said.

The victim and the assailant had been arguing before the shooting but it was not clear what sparked the dispute and gunfire.


Queens

A 99-cent store in Laurelton was burglarized by a man who cut a hole in the roof and crept in during the night, cops said.

The suspect used tools to work his way into the 99 Cent Dream Store on Merrick Boulevard near 230th Street at around 4:45 a.m. Saturday, cops said.

The man, believed to be in his late 20s, scored $2,600 from the store.

He was last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, camouflage pants and light sneakers, and was carrying a book bag.
