Woman dead in apparent suicide at Manhattan subway station

A woman jumped in front of a train in Manhattan on Wednesday, police sources said.

She was struck and killed by a Brooklyn-bound F train at the Herald Square station on 34th Street about 1:50 p.m., authorities said.

All downtown B, D, and F trains are bypassing the station during the police investigation.

F trains heading to Brooklyn are running along the E line from the Roosevelt Avenue stop in Queens to Manhattan’s Washington Square station.

M trains traveling downtown are also going on the E line, from 5th Avenue-53rd Street to Washington Square.

No criminality is suspected.
