Rally for gun control at City Hall on Saturday

Two groups funded in part by billionaire ex-Mayor Mike Bloomberg are set to rally for gun-law reforms outside City Hall on Saturday.

In the wake of a series of high-profile shootings, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and its umbrella organization, Everytown for Gun Safety, will cross the Brooklyn Bridge during a second annual march to end gun violence.

Speakers, including actress Amanda Peet, will call for closing loopholes in background-check laws across the country — along with other “common-sense” reforms.

The groups are also backing a postcard campaign inspired by the rallying cry of Richard Martinez — whose son was killed in the recent UC Santa Barbara shootings — of “not one more!” senseless death from gun violence.
