5 people who should come back for the final season of ‘Mad Men’

The first half of the final season of “Mad Men” has come to a close, and we only have to wait another year to find out what happens next. It’s never too soon, though, to speculate about which characters from the show’s past might return for one last hurrah.

Here are our picks for who we want to see come back most.

Sal Romano (Bryan Batt)

AMC
The lovable art director was fired when he refused the advances of that Lucky Strike creep. This was sad. The agency should hire him back now that Lucky Strike isn’t even a client anymore. And maybe he can get together with Bob Benson (James Wolk)?

Lee Garner Jr. (Darren Pettie)

AMC
Speaking of that Lucky Strike creep, bring him back too! His high-stakes bulls–t could have the agency in a tizzy once again.

Glen Bishop (Marten Holden Weiner)

AMC
The real power couple of this show has always been Glen and Sally (Kiernan Shipka). Sally needs to stop making out with boys who like telescopes and get back with her real man.

Paul Kinsey (Michael Gladis)

AMC
Did he sell his “Star Trek” script? Is he still a Hare Krishna? These questions need answers.

Greg Harris (Sam Page)

AMC
Yes, he’s an awful person, but he’s really good to look at. Maybe he can suddenly decide he wants to be a part of (who he thinks is) his son’s life.
