Eye on Coney!

Sunbathers, strongmen, swimmers and schmoozers — Aaron Rose surreptitiously shot them all, from 1961 to 1963, on the beach and boardwalk of Coney Island. See his work at the Museum of the City of New York, where “In a World of Their Own” opens Friday. He calls his subjects “that gritty, sunbaked flesh of humanity … To me, it’s an artist’s dream.” 1220 Fifth Ave., at 103rd Street; Museum of the City of New York.
