A teenager enjoying his first day of spring recess got shot in the back of the head while fleeing a gunman who opened fire along a busy Brooklyn street on Monday, cops said.

Gama Droiville, 13, was walking with his aunt on Flatbush Avenue near Beverly Road around noon when the shooter started spraying bullets at a man who was getting out of a taxicab, sources said.

Gama and the aunt both tried to run away, but a stray round struck the boy from behind.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in serious condition, but has since been stabilized and is expected to survive, sources said.

The intended target, an unidentified 24-year-old man, was hit once in the leg and limped into the same hospital for treatment, sources said.

He was being interviewed by detectives, who hadn’t yet determined a motive.

The shooter, described as a black man in his 20s wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, escaped the scene.

At least nine shell casings littered the ground, and witnesses said they were terrified by the broad-daylight shooting.

Assiatou Diallo, 49, owner of the Cherif African Hair Braiding store, said she was returning from a nearby deli when the bullets started flying.

“God made me miss it because I came from getting breakfast and I was right here in front of where it happened,” Diallo said. “It just missed me.”

Diallo said Gama and the aunt took refuge in the Avenue Pizza II eatery, where a trail of blood marred the floor.

“I told him just sit on the chair because he was bleeding a lot,” she said.

Manager Rufino Salazar, 25, said Gama was also with a younger boy who appeared to be his brother, and that the woman with them was crying and screaming hysterically.

“She said ‘My son is dying!’ I was scared,” Salazar said.

A passer-by who gave her name as Deborah P., 47, called the incident “really appalling.”

“It’s senseless,” she said. “I cried, because I have a son, and I have a daughter that’s in the Navy, too.”
