They’ve done pretty much everything else together, so it only feels like a matter of time before Jay Z and Beyonce hit the big screen.
Judging by the look of this new four-minute clip (designed to promote their forthcoming “On The Run” joint tour), the couple seem ready for it.
“Run” is mock-trailer for what appears to be a preposterous, Michael Bay-style gangster/heist thriller. It features cameos from Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Penn, Guillermo Diaz, Blake Lively, Don Cheadle, Emmy Rossum, Rashida and Kidada Jones and is directed by Beyonce video director Melina Matsoukas.
Check out the video below. Even though it’s not a real film, “Run” is already better than “Obsessed.”
