Pratt gets his super on in new ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ clip

Captain America may have just begun his box office takeover, but Marvel is already on to its next superhero spectacular.
In a new clip for the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Chris Pratt steals an orb and proclaims himself a “legendary outlaw” to little fanfare. The actor, best known for playing doofus Andy Dwyer on “Parks and Recreation,” then gets his action hero on as Star-Lord before the preview segues into glimpses of his comrades, Gamora (Zoe Saldana doing her best Elphaba), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista ) and the adorable Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
“Guardians of the Galaxy” hits theaters Aug. 1.
