The first-ever emoji-filled trailer

It’s subtitles for the texting generation.

The team behind “The Other Woman” have re-released the trailer for the upcoming revenge comedy, this time chock full of emoji.

The first-of-its-kind take on the regular trailer released in December includes a running emoji translation for nearly all the clip’s dialogue.

That might not sound like much, but the simple addition of the colorful icons — familiar to anyone who uses a smartphone — greatly enlivens what was originally a fun but not particularly memorable trailer.

“The Other Woman,” starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, focuses on the unlikely friendship formed by three women who are two-timed by the same man, and is set to be released April 25.
