David Letterman is introducing his “Late Show” audience to the real Stephen Colbert.
The satirical “Colbert Report” host, who will inherit the “Late Show” in 2015, will be a guest on the CBS late-night show next Tuesday, April 22.
Last week CBS announced Colbert, 49, would succeed Letterman when he retires next year from the show he created 21 years ago. It will be Colbert’s first interview since the announcement.
He last appeared on Letterman in December 2013.
