Nearly 50 people busted for dancing on subways this year

City transit cops have busted nearly 50 riders for dancing and performing on moving subways this year, authorities said.

The NYPD charged the 46 dancers and acrobats with reckless endangerment, said Transit Chief Joseph Fox.

Intel for the arrests came from a new system where the MTA shares riders’ complaints with the police, as cops focus more on quality-of-life issues in the subway.

Police has also busted 371 panhandlers so far this year– a major spike from the 100 collars last year.

Peddlers who sell goods such as churros without a license are feeling the heat, too.

Cops have locked up 122 peddlers so far, up from 66 during the same period last year.

Simultaneously, felony crime has been dropping underground.

Robberies plunged almost 50 percent in March. There were 31 last month and 58 for the same period last year.
