Disgraced LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling reveals his inner horndog in his latest recorded rant, while admitting it takes him an hour to warm up before he’s ready for action.
The 81-year-old Sterling said that his much younger ex-gal pal, V. Stiviano, “was an animal” in the sack and that “everybody in the world wants to f- -k her,” The Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
“I’m paying a very high price for trying to get a girl hot and make it with her. Listen, I’m telling you she was hot. It took me maybe an hour to get there but it was hot,” he said during a 90-minute conversation with a pal named “Maserati,” who arranged hookups with escorts in Vegas for the embattled billionaire.
“So why did I do it? Because I’m 80 years old. I am an 80-year-old man and tried to make it with a girl. I did it before. It wasn’t easy … she has a fabulous body and loves to have sex,” he leered.
Sterling also says he’ll take his fight with the NBA to the Supreme Court, disses President Obama for weighing in on the scandal and can’t recall the Holocaust — even though he’s Jewish.
“You can’t force somebody to sell property in America. Well I’m a lawyer, that’s my opinion,” the combative 81-year-old said, vowing to fight the NBA’s effort to force him to sell the franchise.
“‘If you talk to a girl and you say something wrong … So they should take away for life your team because you said the wrong thing to a girl? I’m not gonna let anybody take over my team.”
Sterling has been pilloried by everyone from Obama to NBA legends Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and LeBron James since his racist comments surfaced two weeks ago in a recorded conversation with Stiviano.
But in the new recording, he dishes back and vows a fight to the bitter end to remain an NBA owner.
“My lawyer is telling me there’s not a chance in the world that anybody can make you sell your team and if they ever could, it would take 20 years of litigation,” he said.
“And with regard to the penalty [a $2.5 million fine by the NBA], my lawyers, you know they’re downtown LA, they’re pretty good, they say that they think it’s excessive, far excessive for what happened … for what, for what? Even if you say things against Jews or Koreans … can you take away his living? My living?… for what? For trying to get a girl hot and make it with her?” he ranted.
“Well let’s see. If the Supreme Court of the United States … deems that it’s excessive, that it’s unfair, then they’ll reduce it,” Sterling continued, saying he won’t pay the fine.
“I haven’t done anything. I’m not gonna pay them $2 million, I’m not gonna pay them. I’ve done nothing wrong. Can they take away property, can they take away your house without due process? They have to go through a whole trial. They have to determine value,” he ranted.
Three-quarters of the NBA team owners would have to vote in favor of forcing Sterling to sell.
Sterling also took a shot at Obama for speaking out about the controversy in Malaysia during his recent Asian trip.
“When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything, you just let them talk. That’s what happened here,” the president had said about Sterling.
“I think that was such bad judgment on his [Obama’s] part to make a flippant comment from Malaysia. Wasn’t that? How does he know what the facts are?” he asked.
“I’m a lawyer. If you or anyone calls me to ask me an opinion, I say let me review the papers — you know — I wanna check. I don’t give comments unless I do. Why would he make a comment without talking either to Magic or somebody here? Or review the papers. I think that was such bad judgment on his part to make a flippant comment from Malaysia. Wasn’t that? How does he know what the facts are?” he griped.
“Our president … he’s a good guy and I like him, I just think everybody wants to get into the act — is that it?’
Sterling spoke to Maserati four or five days after the scandal broke, the paper said.
At one point, he amazingly couldn’t remember the name of the Holocaust when discussing a conversation about race with Stiviano.
“She said blacks are treated in California like the, um, where all the Jews were killed, you know what I mean? Where was that? The, um, you know,” he stumbled before recalling the word.
“Anyhow, she got me into some philosophical tracks where blacks are discriminated [against] more than the Holocaust or something,” he said.
Sterling also said he was worried about his estranged wife, Shelly, because Stiviano allegedly threatened her.
“I just worry about Shelly because she said, ‘Your wife is gonna get it.’ I think [Stiviano is] really nuts because she called me … and she said she’s gonna take me down. I dunno what my wife is gonna do. She’s scared for her personal safety. They told her not to go to the games — she wants to sit at the games.”
Shelly has sued Stiviano, accusing her of extorting millions of dollars from her husband, and seeks the return of $500,000 worth of luxury cars and the $1.8 million home that Sterling allegedly gave her without his wife’s consent.
