Alleged gang-banger busted with arsenal of guns is NYPD cop’s son

An alleged Brooklyn gang-banger busted with an arsenal of guns this week is the son of an NYPD housing cop — and he kept the weapons in his mom’s basement, court documents and law-enforcement sources said.

Craig Harris, 28, was arrested Tuesday after cops found five guns in the East New York home he shares with his mom, court papers state.

His mom, Trina Andersen, is a housing cop who works in north Brooklyn, law-enforcement sources confirmed.

Cops found a loaded, sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun, two .40-caliber handguns and a loaded .32-caliber revolver, according to court papers. There was also an inauguration letter from the Crips gang stored alongside the guns, the court papers said.

“We didn’t know,” said brother Mike Harris when asked about the guns.

Craig was busted for punching the mother of his child in the face, court papers state.

When cops responded, the beat-up gal pal told them about Craig’s guns, a source said.

He was hit with a slew of charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and attempted assault.

Defense attorney Cary London declined to comment.
