Negotiations are ongoing with cast members Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, whose contracts are up at the end of this season, according to reports. Stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have already closed new deals to return.

“Big Bang Theory” is the most-watched comedy on TV, averaging nearly 20 million viewers a week and up 4 percent from last season.

It has received multiple Emmy nominations for best comedy and won three for star Parsons.
