Us Weekly, the Wenner Media-owned title, by tomorrow will be joining People and the AMI celebrity titles in hiking its price by $1 to $4.99.
Sources said there was a big debate inside the Jann Wenner-owned company when a hike from industry leader People was first revealed.
Last week, when People posted its first price hike in six years and AMI followed suit, Us Weekly held the line temporarily at $3.99.
But this week, it joined the pack. A spokeswoman confirmed the price hike, but declined to furnish any additional information.
