The Post’s style mavens show off spring’s hottest trends

Hot Tropics

Anahita (left), The Post’s deputy fashion editor, says: Aloha spring! I can’t think of a better way to shed my winter wardrobe than with this flirty flared frock. Cut from lightweight neoprene, this classic tropical print feels modern and fresh — with a chic high neck and A-line skirt. Paired with palm tree-hued pumps and a pineapple-clasp clutch, all this look is missing is a mai tai.

On Anahita: Cameo dress, $215 at Pixie Market, 100 Stanton St. • Pumps, $695 at Oscar de la Renta, 772 Madison Ave. • Ring, similar styles for $449 at mawi.co.uk • Clutch, $1,595 at Charlotte Olympia, 22 E. 65th St.

Johannah (right), The Post’s fashion market specialist, says: The best thing about the tropical trend is that you can choose from a never-ending variety of beachy prints: palm trees, pineapples, sunsets and, of course, flowers. And it doesn’t stop there. Do you prefer your island escape to be playful with super-bright digital prints — or more feminine and demure like the understated one I’m wearing here?

On Johannah: Rebecca Taylor top, $350 at piperlime.com • Shorts, $57 at asos.com • Pumps, $660 at Walter Steiger, 417 Park Ave. • Clutch, $245 at meredithwendell.com • Crystal bracelet (top), $220 at peppercotton.com • Brass and turquoise-thread bracelet, $165 at holstandlee.com

Game On!

Anahita and Johannah look ready to play ball — or at least fashionable enough to watch from the sidelines.Elizabeth Lippman

Anahita says: For the past few seasons, the sporty trend has evolved into a surefire win-win, no matter your aesthetic. I gravitate toward the girly and the glittery, so it’s no surprise that this kitschy Ashish top caught my eye. The primary hues and sporty stripes score big with a pair of mesh pumps, making for a look that spells v-i-c-t-o-r-y.

On Anahita: Ashish top, $1,279 at vfiles.com • Skirt, $158 at bcbg.com • L.A.M.B. heels, $225 at zappos.com • Furla bag, $448 at Bloomingdale’s, 1000 Third Ave.

Johannah says: Super-chic sneakers and eclectic varsity jackets were essential for fall, and sporty tops, like this Avelon jersey, are definitely going to be showing up this spring. Layered over a sheer mullet dress and paired with sparkly jewels, it’s a look that goes from day to night. All-in-all a slam dunk!

On Johannah: Avelon jersey, $137 at ssense.com • DKNY dress, $215, Crislu necklaces, $278 to $325, and bracelets, $148 to $215, all at Bloomingdale’s • Rebecca Minkoff sandals, $275 at piperlime.com • Bag, $115 at DKNY, 655 Madison Ave.

It’s a Match

Forget about mixing and matching — it’s all match-match this spring.Elizabeth Lippman

Anahita says: Remember when head-to-toe matching was a fashion faux pas? No more! This Tibi look is one I particularly covet because it cheerfully sums up several spring trends I’ve been obsessed with for a while: the crop top, a full midi-skirt and a classic but femme SJP pump. Plus, it’s finished in my favorite shade of powder blue. Baller, for sure.

On Anahita: Top, $325, and skirt, $625, both at tibi.com • SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker pumps, $350 at nordstrom.com • Bracelet, $465 at vitafede.com • Edie Parker clutch, $1,495 at hirshleifers.com

Johannah says: While pairing a black top with black skinny jeans technically counts as a set (at least here in NYC), I wanted to explore the matching trend in spring’s lovely pastel tones. This Alexander Wang outfit seems like the best place to start: Actually a connected one-piece (the top is sewn to the sides of the bottoms), it’s a perfectly tailored tomboy ensemble.

On Johannah: Alexander Wang romper, $895 at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Ave. • Edmundo Castillo heels, $995 at Neiman Marcus, 310-550-5900 • Sophie Bille Brahe rings, $675 to $1,500 at Dover Street Market, 160 Lexington Ave. • Earrings, $250 at vitafede.com • Necklace, $58 at rebeccaminkoff.com
