Not satisfied with plans to picket the New Zealander’s show in Kansas City, MO on Friday night (March 21), the anti-homosexual bible-bashers have also decided to take it upon themselves to offer up their own hilariously bad version of “Royals.”
The track features one female vocalist wavering in and out of tune while preaching the imminent return of a vengeful Jesus Christ. No doubt he’s going to be super-duper angry at us all for enjoying a song that actually mocks opulence and excess, and was written by a teenage girl who doesn’t drink alcohol. We are so sinful, you guys!
