Two would-be robbers used a bomb threat to try to knock off a Hamilton Heights check-cashing joint, authorities said.

The suspects walked into the Pay-O-Matic on Broadway near West 151st Street on Feb. 18 at about 8:30 a.m. and demanded access to the safe, police said.

They claimed to have a bomb and threatened to detonate it, cops added.

An employee triggered a panic alarm and the pair fled empty-handed.

One suspect is 5-foot-10 and was wearing glasses, a purple scarf, a blue hoodie, blue coat and jeans.

His accomplice is about 5-foot-9 with a mustache, and wore a black ski hat, scarf, hooded sweat shirt, leather jacket and dark blue jeans.


Police are looking for a bandit who hit a bank near Grand Central Terminal.

The suspect walked into the Apple Bank on East 42nd Street near Lexington Avenue last Friday at 1:05 p.m., handed a note to the teller and demanded money, cops said.

The worker gave the robber a stack of cash and the suspect fled with the loot, police added.


Three thieves jumped a man and stole his cellphone on the Lower East Side, police said.

The thugs punched the 28-year-old man in the back of the head on Ludlow Street, near Canal Street, on Jan. 16 at about 2:10 p.m., cops said.

The victim’s phone fell to the ground and, as he tried to pick it up, the attackers kicked him in the back, police added.

One of the three brutes snatched the device, and they fled west on Canal Street.

The victim was not seriously injured.


Staten Island

A Chinese-food deliveryman was attacked by an angry customer in Mariner’s Harbor, authorities said.

It’s not clear why Eduardo Ramirez, 39, was upset with the order, but when the deliveryman came to his door on Morningstar Road last Saturday at about 2:20 p.m., the pair began arguing, a Criminal Court complaint states.

Ramirez and the deliveryman struggled over the food until Ramirez shoved the victim, kicked him in the back and snatched the grub, the records claim.

Ramirez was charged with attempted assault and harassment, according to a spokesman for Staten Island District Attorney Dan Donovan.


An unlicensed driver left a 3-year-old and 7-year-old in the back seat of a moving car as he tried to flee from a traffic stop in St. George, authorities said.

Aaron Miles, 22, was driving on Jersey Street in a 1995 Nissan Maxima last Saturday at about 4 p.m. when an officer tried to pull him over, a criminal complaint charges.

Miles bolted, leaving the car running with the engine in drive and the children in the back seat, authorities said.

A passenger was in the front seat as well, according to the records.

The cop checked the plates and found that Miles’ license had been suspended for a sixth time and his car was not registered or insured, records state. He also was carrying pot, authorities said.

Miles was charged with driving without a license, child endangerment, reckless driving and marijuana possession.


Queens

Cops are looking for a man who used a duplicate debit card for two trips to Target in Astoria.

The shopper bought $180 worth of electronics with a Ponce De Leon Bank debit card on Feb. 4 at 10:50 a.m. at the Target on 20th Avenue, police said.

At about 5 p.m. on the same day, he purchased an iPad with a $340 service plan, cops added.

The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue hoodie, a knit cap and red sneakers.


A tech-savvy thief embedded stolen credit card information onto another card and racked up purchases at a Cypress Hill liquor store, police said.

The suspect was caught smirking on camera using the illicit card to buy more than $255 worth of booze at the Lucky Ren Liquor Store on Fulton Street at about 5:25 p.m. on Feb. 13 and again the next day, cops said.
