A&E shelves Chloe Sevigny drama ‘Those Who Kill’

A&E’s new drama “Those Who Kill” may have a short life.

The network has pulled the Chloe Sevigny crime thriller from the schedule after it logged lackluster ratings in its first two weeks. “Those Who Kill,” which is based on a Danish series, premiered to 1.4 million viewers on March 3 at 10 p.m., less than half the audience of its lead-in, “Bates Motel.”

Its second episode dropped more, to just 830,000 viewers.

A&E plans to re-launch the drama in a new timeslot at a later date.

With “Those Who Kill” off the schedule, “Bates Motel” is moving back an hour to Mondays at 10 p.m., with a repeat of the “Psycho” prequel airing at 9 p.m.
