A Brooklyn mother viciously beat her 2-year-old son with a bamboo rod, leaving him critically injured, police said Saturday.
Shocked doctors called the cops after finding 90 percent of the toddler’s body covered with bruises.
The mom, Yayun Weng, 27, of Sunset Park, had taken the baby to Maimonides Hospital on Thursday and claimed he’d fallen out of bed. But “there was no way those bruises came from falling out of a bed,” a police source said.
Weng was busted Friday on felony assault and other charges.
