The NYPD is warning Brooklyn shopkeepers to be on the lookout for a man who killed a 99-cent store owner in Bensonhurst after ballistics tests linked him to another shopkeeper’s death last month.

Police believe the same .22-caliber handgun was used to gun down Isaac Kadare, 59, on 86th Street Thursday night and Mohammed Gebeli, 65, who was gunned down inside a clothing store on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge July 6.

Strangely the addresses of the two shops are similar, with the first owner killed at 7718 Fifth Avenue and the second businessman killed at 1877 86th Street.

“We don’t know if it’s weird coincidence or something more,” said NYPD Spokesman Paul Browne. “We now believe he may be erratic.”

Witnesses told cops a man matching the suspect’s description said something about “putting a bullet in his head” around the time of the latest killing. It wasn’t clear if he was talking on a headset or to himself, source said.
