A thief ripped a ring off an elderly woman’s finger as she lay in a hospital bed, police said.

The 86-year-old patient was in the Emergency Room at Beth Israel Medical Center on First Avenue, near East 17th Street, on Sunday at about 8:30 a.m. when the suspect snatched the gold ring from her index finger, cops said.

He tugged at the band with so much force that the octogenarian’s finger was injured, police added.

He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, jeans and white sneakers.


Brooklyn

A thief who swiped a teenager’s cellphone on the F train in Bensonhurst lost his own phone when the girl fought back, cops said.

The suspect snatched the Samsung phone from the victim on Jan. 24 at about 10:30 a.m. while the train was near the Avenue N station, authorities said.

The scrappy 16-year-old followed the mugger to the next car and tackled him, according to police.

As the pair tussled, the girl grabbed a cellphone from the man’s pocket, believing it to be her own, cops said.

The thief managed to escape, but the victim was able to give investigators his cellphone, which contained pictures of the suspect, police said.

He was described as being 6-feet tall, about 180 pounds and in his 30s.


The Bronx

Cops are looking for a creep wanted for groping a woman on a High Bridge subway platform.

The suspect approached a 25-year-old woman at the 170th Street station on the D line on Feb. 24 at about 11:50 p.m., grabbed her buttocks and fled, according to police.

The victim snapped a photo of the suspect before he got away, cops said.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s, 5-foot-6, with black hair.

He was last seen wearing a green hoodie with light blue jeans.


A pack of thugs broke a man’s leg and took his cellphone in Foxhurst, police said.

The suspects attacked the 47-year-old victim in front of a Checkers burger joint on the corner of Westchester Avenue and Southern Boulevard on Feb. 23 at about 4:40 p.m., cops said.

The crew took the victim’s Samsung cellphone and fled, police added.

The victim suffered a broken leg and was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment, officials said.


Queens

A thief snatched cash from a man at a Jackson Heights ATM, cops said.

Immediately after the 40-year-old victim withdrew money on Roosevelt Avenue and 80th Street on Jan. 21 about 1:20 a.m., he was confronted by the bandit, who grabbed $200, cops said.

The victim tried to fight back, but the thief got away, police added.


A burglar is wanted for at least 10 break-ins around Ozone Park, cops said.

The suspect began his spree in early January and has been targeting homes on 77th and 78th streets, between 105th to 118th avenue, police said.

Each time, he has either broken in through a window or rear door, cops added.

In most incidents, he has stolen jewelry and cash, officials said.

The suspect last struck on Feb. 10 at about 2:30 p.m. at an apartment on 77th Street, near 105th Avenue, and it was his largest haul yet, police said.

He fled with a flat screen television, an Xbox console, games, shoes, watches, a laptop, handbags, a Wii console, a PlayStation Portable, a Kindle Fire, a Nintendo DS and two cellphones.

The suspect has brown eyes, a black mustache and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with ­“Hollister” on it.
