Aide who found Scott’s body arrives in LA for funeral

The assistant who found L’Wren Scott’s body in her Manhattan condo arrived in Los Angeles Monday to attend her boss’ funeral.

Brittany Penebre, 28, attempted to duck photographers at LAX and would not speak to reporters.

She is expected to attend the small service this week at Hollywood Forever Cemetery — along with Scott’s longtime lover Mick Jagger.

The morning of Scott’s suicide, she texted Penebre to come to her luxury apartment at exactly 10 a.m.

Penebre used a key to take the elevator directly to Scott’s unit — and when she stepped off the elevator, she found the 49-year-old hanging from the balcony door handle.

Scott did not leave a suicide note, but sources have said she was recently dumped by Jagger, who asked her not to tag along on the Rolling Stones’ latest world tour.

Records also show that Scott’s company was millions of dollars in debt.

Jagger was seen in LA on Monday on the balcony of a building where he is holed up.

The Stones canceled the Australian and New Zealand leg of their “14 on Fire” world tour after hearing the news of Scott’s death.

Music industry sources told Billboard the move cost the band around $10 million, between deposits on venues, storage costs and lost revenue.

The Stones were scheduled to play seven shows across Australia and New Zealand and had reportedly sold about 150,000 tickets.

Promoters are in talks to bring the band Down Under later this year, where they have not played a show since 2006.
