Pharrell gets stars dancing at Oscars

Pharrell Williams got a little help from his friends — namely Academy Awards nominees Lupita Nyong’o, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams — during the Oscars performance of his track, “Happy.”

After an enthusiastic start to the performance, featuring a jubilant group of dancers that seemed they’d be at home in an “Old Navy” commercial, Pharrell made his way down to the front row of the audience.

He first pulled “12 Years A Slave” breakout Nyong’o to her feet before moving on to 18-time nominee Meryl Streep, who shimmied with the singer from her seat.

Pharrell then passed over Jennifer Lawrence to move on to her “American Hustle” co-star Amy Adams who hopped up for her own brief “Happy” dance.

“Happy”,  from the winning animated film “Frozen”, was nominated for best song.
