Handless hate preacher pens letter asking to take the stand

He doesn’t have bad hook-writing.
Handless hate preacher Abu Hamza al-Masri submitted a self-written note to a Manhattan federal judge this week, saying he wants to take the witness stand in his own defense at his April 14 terror trial to talk freely about the charges against him.
“I was very surprised to notice during the last two hearings that you had not been informed that I am testifying and that I DO NOT want to exclude, or avoid mentioning, any of [the] people or organizations, places or terms that have been mentioned in my indictment,” the one-eyed, hook-handed terror defendant wrote to Judge Katherine Forrest.
Al-Masri – who is charged with setting up a terrorist training camp in Oregon, among other terror-related crimes – wrote the five-page letter from his Metropolitan Correctional Center cell with a special prosthetic for writing.
Al-Masri wrote the note using his now-preferred name “Mostafa Kamel Mostafa.”

He also wrote that he hopes Forrest’s court “resonates with fairness” and that he prays “the Almighty the Creator inspires [her] wisdom and patience to leave no stone unturned till (sic) the truth” is revealed.
Al-Masri, who will get to personally address Forrest during a court hearing Friday, said he has been trying to reach the judge “for some time.” He also used the letter to rip MCC staff for the poor medical treatment he’s received due to a jailhouse “budget problem.”
