Third snowstorm in a week to hit New York Saturday night

There will be little reprieve for wet and miserable New Yorkers with the third storm in a week due to hit Saturday night.

But the early speculation of up to 30 inches of snow is unlikely to be realized, forecasters said Wednesday.

AccuWeather meteorologist Dan Pydynowski said the amount of snow this weekend may not even match last Sunday’s total of 8 inches in Central Park.

Mayor de Blasio assured residents, “We have the resources for the next storm . . . I think the response, in each and every instance, keeps improving.”
