A person was killed by a city sanitation truck in Brooklyn Sunday morning, officials said.
The unidentified victim was crushed by the garbage truck’s wheels at around 9:15 a.m. near the corner of Carroll Street and Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and Sanitation officials said they are investigating the cause of the accident.
