That Japanese baseball sensation and the Yankee’s latest $155 million acquisition, Masahiro Tanaka, and his pop star wife, Mai Satoda, have gotten their native land’s news stations in a tizzy about where the celebrity couple will live in New York.
A Japanese TV station (Fuji) recently aired a segment, last Sunday, suggesting that Tanaka and Satoda should check out the Seville at 300 E. 77th St. “For some reason, the Japanese are obsessed with this building and its views,” a source tells us . . .
