Maria Bartiromo starts at Fox Business Feb. 1

Former CNBC anchor-reporter Maria Bartiromo officially joins Fox Business Network as its Global Markets Editor Feb. 1.

The veteran business journalist will anchor a daily program for that network, plus a weekly business-oriented show for Fox News Channel. She begins at the network next month. Both programs will be launched by April, the network said Wednesday.

Bartiromo’s plan to move to Fox was first reported by The Post in November, when she left CNBC after 20 years. While there, she pioneered daily live reporting from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

The 46-year old Brooklyn native has won two Emmys, one for news and one for documentary.

Bartiromo’s high-profile work and photogenic looks earned her the nickname “Money Honey.” Before arriving at CNBC in 1993, she spent five years as a producer, writer and assignment editor for CNN Business News.

She also is the author of several books, including “The Weekend That Changed Wall Street” and “The 10 Laws of Enduring Success.”

At her new workplace, she reunites with Roger Ailes, Fox News chairman and CEO, who previously ran CNBC.

Ailes said he is “delighted to have her join me once again.”
