A 15-year-old delivering food was severely injured in Brooklyn yesterday when his bicycle and an unmarked police cruiser rushing to a call collided, cops said.
The unidentified victim was in critical condition at Woodhull Hospital. He was struck at 6:40 p.m. near 731 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg.
“I did hear a big thump,” said a woman who lives nearby.
The cyclist hit a fender and smashed into the windshield before rolling over the car’s hood.
Police said the cruiser’s lights and siren were on, and that the accident happened as the car had a green traffic light.
